 Payment Policy

We accept all major credit cards for online orders, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We use the latest in online security from Comodogroup.net to ensure the safety and security of your private information.  Credit card charges will appear on your statement under the name Mr. Mulch, Inc. Please do not dispute these charges as they charge us a fee. If a chargeback does happen (you dispute your bill), we will bill you the fee ($25.00) and send this page to your credit card provider so that they know we have the authorization to charge you this fee.

 Return Policy

  1. What if I don’t have a receipt?
    Harrison’s Ponds customers must present a receipt (or have a sales history) for all returns to be entitled to a refund at the purchased price (less any return fees that may apply). Customers without an original receipt/sales history specifically for the product to be returned will receive store credit equal to the lowest possible price set for the same product from the current calendar year. The customer will still be charged a Return Fee, if applicable.

  2. When can I return my product?
    All returns must be done within 30 days of the purchase date.

  3. What products can and cannot be returned?
    Sorry! Shipping & Handling Fees, Discontinued Products, Special Order Items, and Cut-to-Order Products (including, but not limited to: pond liners, underlayment, splice tape, and tubing).

  4. What are the Return Fees?
    We do not charge return fees!

  5. What if the product is opened, altered (split), or damaged?
    Only products purchased on our website are permitted to be returned and all must be in resalable condition. Altered/Split or Damaged products are subject to a 15% fee. All original packaging, instructions and parts must remain intact and functional.

  6. What if my product was shipped and I want to return it?
    If you change your mind after we ship the product and before you receive it, you will be responsible for all applicable shipping and handling charges. The earlier you call us, the quicker we can call the shipping company. If you have received your product, you are responsible for the contacting the shipping company and pay all charges.

  7. How will I be credited?
    Monies will be issued in the same form as the purchase.

Price Matching

We will be happy to match a price that you find on another website.  We ask that you check the shipping and handling costs that the other company charges, then compare your total price. If the price is still lower than ours, let us know where you found the product.  We will confirm the price and ensure that it is in stock at that location, then sell you the product at that price.  Price matching will only be done prior to the sale. Sorry but we cannot match prices after the sale is completed.

Sales Tax

We are registered to collect sales tax in the State of Ohio. Shipments that are destined to any Ohio location will be charged 6.75% for sales tax.

 

 Shipping Policy

We usually ship UPS. We can not ship collect to your personal or business UPS account. UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. Some items are too heavy or too large to ship UPS and they will be shipped by truck line/common carrier.  

Orders with large items or with items weighing 151lbs or more are shipped common carrier. The shipping company charges an additional fee for residential deliveries and sometimes this additional fee will be charged to you directly at time of delivery. This additional fee is waived if you ship to a commercial address. The shipping company will call you to schedule a delivery date and time. If you do not provide us with a phone number at the time of purchase, your order may be delayed. Common carrier deliveries must be signed for, so please be available. In addition, the shipping company will not unload the merchandise. If the merchandise is too heavy to lift, it is your responsibility to provide the unloading method. Please allow 8-10 days shipping time excluding holidays and weekends. It is important that you inspect all freight carefully upon receipt. On the rare occasion that freight has been damaged by the carrier, please have the driver note damage on the bill of lading, or refuse to accept delivery, and notify us immediately. We will promptly ship replacement materials. Should you accept damaged goods by signing for them, the claim for damage becomes your responsibility, and we can only assist you in processing this claim by supplying information you need to put on the claim form.

We accept responsibility of the shipment until it arrives at your premises. Once you sign for it (UPS or Truck) you have acknowledged you have received the merchandise in good condition. If you see that the product is damaged (even slightly) at time of delivery, please note it to the delivery driver and see that it gets noted on the paperwork to make a future claim easier to process if it becomes necessary. If you determine that the product was damaged AFTER you open the box STOP and contact us immediately. We need to get you the information so you can file a concealed damage claim with UPS or the truck carrier. All claims must be made within 72 hours after receipt of merchandise.

Motor freight pondliner shipments: PLEASE INSPECT ROLLS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING. If the shipment appears to be damaged, refuse it, and notify us immediately. IF THE LINER IS DAMAGED, AND YOU ACCEPT IT, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FILING THE FREIGHT CLAIM WITH THE CARRIER, NO EXCEPTIONS.

We only ship in the continental United States. We ship from the closest warehouse where the inventory exists to your address. However, if that warehouse is in New York and you are in California it may take 5-7 business days for UPS to get it to your address. If you want an estimated delivery date put a comment on your order and we will endeavor to notify you when it shipped and the tracking number so you can follow it yourself with UPS.

It is important that you inspect all material purchased carefully upon receipt. On the rare occasion that the material has been damaged by the carrier, please have the driver note damage on the bill of lading, or refuse to accept delivery, and notify us immediately.  Pick Up Policy

All prices listed on our website are calculated assuming that items will be drop shipped from our supplier. We do sell most of the products sold on the website but some prices may differ simply because of higher costs (due to shipping the product to our location, storing the product, packing the product, etc.). While we have a location and show directions to this location on our website, we do not allow products to be picked up at the online price due to this fact. Products stocked by our location may be picked up but at a different price than what is listed online.
